1. Wedding Invitations and Stationery requires knowledge, skill, experience and a bit of perfectionism!
Often, I have Brides asking me to create their wedding stationery after they’ve tried to create their own. There is nothing wrong with DIY wedding invitations, but they do require experience and a lot of practice. Despite making wedding stationery since we got married in 2008, I’m still learning new techniques to implement within my designs. By having the experience of various techniques, it allows me to advise on the best style, colour schemes and options available to you. There are so many varieties of card that dictates the quality of your stationery, colour options as well as the required wording. Also, the equipment used to make the intricate designs can be expensive and quite often standard printers cannot print on good quality card.
Carynwen is continuing to grow and I’m very proud of my achievements including awards for ‘Best for Bespoke Wedding Stationery 2019 – Wales’ and Finalist in the Best of Welsh Wedding Awards 2021 for wedding stationery. Whilst all my creations are handmade, there is a difference in quality from those that are ‘homemade’. As a local business, there are connections to the area and knowledge of Wedding suppliers and venues including the all important recommendations. I live in the beautiful Tywi Valley in Carmarthenshire which is the county with the highest number of Welsh speakers in Wales. Consequently, having the option of creating wedding stationery in Welsh and/or English is paramount. Welsh being my first language allows me to offer you customisable options to your wedding stationery. 3. No minimum order, all designs are customisable and attention to detail.
Anyone who knows me will tell you that I’m a perfectionist! Therefore, no matter what size wedding you are having, the quality of your wedding stationery will always be the same. I will use the same high standard of materials, tools and attention to detail regardless of whether you require 10 or 100 wedding invitations. I’m often asked if I do wedding stationery packages. I create bespoke packages, the exact quantity of each item that you require. Why should you buy 50 wedding invitations if you require 46? I’m also flexible where I can change the number of items you require (providing they haven’t already been created). So, if you’ve forgotten to invite Mr and Mrs Jones, we can add this on to the order.
All my designs are handmade and each design is customisable for you. Alternatively, I’m always open to a challenge and welcome your ideas to create something different!
